Education & Early Experience
After receiving a BA in speech and drama at Augustana College, Sandy spent the ensuing years acting, and performing improv and voice work. She eventually joined improv workshops at Chicago's Second City, studying with Del Close and Josephine Forsberg.

She lived for a while in Las Vegas where she was an actress in residence, performing in comedies and musicals at the (former) Meadows Playhouse. Her recent acting credits include the television show American Greed (Bill Curtis Productions) and a stage production of The Vagina Monologues in July 2017.
Paying the bills meant taking on jobs with PBS affiliate WTTW and WGN Television in Chicago, but she continued to do improv and short films whenever possible. Sandy confidently made the decision to make voice over a full-time vocation.
